DescriptionBottle/vase of mold blown pale aqua glass. Hexagonal body with three alternating panels of geometric decoration. The first is small checkered, the second a diamond design with an inner circle, and the third is a chevron type design. Cylindrical with a 2.625" high neck with a turned inward edge. Pair of solid ribbed double loop handles from the rim to shoulder, attaching 1/3 down at an applied horizontal band. A little atilt, thin and fragile. Much iridescence and some weathering. Late Roman or Early Christian Byzantine. Deep basal kick and a rough pontil. Palestinian Trans Jordan area.
