DescriptionThis vase in the Japanesque style is blown clear aqua glass (uranium oxide formula) with hot applications, enameled and gilded. The very fluid, hot-applied decoration may be compared and contrasted with much more tightly worked hot-applied decoration done in England and Bohemia. It is typical of Jean's enameled glass of the late 1870s and early 1880s.late 19th - early 20th c
