DescriptionBronze ferrule. Solid, slightly flared at end where two "stick figure" deer emerge, one on each side. Only the front part of the body is shown. Two incised lines encircle piece at its midsection, two round bosses protrude (on alternate sides from the deer) at bottom end. This end irregular, one side shorter than other resembling part of an interlocking seam. Small hole opening on tip. Irregular U-shaped opening in bronze above bosses; bronze heavily patinated.
