DescriptionThis carte de visite is a half-length portrait of Fernando Wood (1812-1881), Tamany Hall leader, Congressman, Mayor of New York. The sitter is turned slightly to his proper right; he has "salt and pepper" hair, white mustache. The gray mount is rectangular with rounded corners; image has plain background.
