DescriptionThis Card Table is a strong example of cabinetry of the port city of Norfolk from the period following the American Revolution, ca. 1800-1810, when the restrained neo-classical style was popular. It was made in the most refined, very English, style of the period, and made of the choicest mahogany from Central or South America.
