DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. A black and white photograph with a substantial sized group of soldiers posed for the picture in a field. Half the men are standing, the other half are seated. The men in the back are holding up their rifles in a pyramid shape. The men to the left side are pictured with their drums. Behind the men the focus is on one large tree; however, there are more trees off into the distance. The bottom of the picture says "Camp Meigs Readville, Mass. June 17, 1863". It also lists the soldiers' names and rank. This is from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 2].
