DescriptionThis is a 'Mother and Child' Pattern Teabowl (A) and Saucer (B). Each piece transfer-printed with a Chinese lady seated beside her standing son amidst jardinières filled with flowers and fruit, behind them on the saucer a tall table with a vase and a bowl, the table amidst other vessels printed on the reverse of the teabowl, and the rim of each edged in underglaze-blue.
