DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Banded Hedge" pattern teabowl ( A) and saucer. (B). Each piece is painted in purple monochrome heightened in gilding with a stylized tree peony growing from behind a banded hedge and surrounded by scattered floral sprigs, the cup with a central floral sprig, and each with a floral meander border around the interior of the gilt-edged rim. Each has some wear to the center and rim edge.
