DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Old Japan Sprig" pattern teabowl (A) and saucer (B). Each piece is painted with a gilt-heightened rose, iron-red, black, and green peony sprig above or within an iron-red double line and alternating with or surrounded by five black and iron-red starburst motifs issuing rose trailing loops beneath the cafe-au-lait edged rim.
