DescriptionBowl of very heavy silver with gilt interior. The exterior is divided into reserves by trees or vines in the Art Nouveau style. Within the reserves are vignettes illustrating a nursery rhyme ("Four and Twenty Blackbirds"). This bowl is from a child's four-piece table service, which also includes an ivory-handled porringer, plate, and an underplate for the bowl.
