DescriptionOval covered vegetable dish with "JSMCR" monogram. Slightly lobed dish and cover. Each has wide borders of sepia and gilt designs intricately painted in a feather motif, hatch marks, and tiny gilt pendants. A similar, narrower band encircles central area with monograms (2 on lid and one on dish) within an oval entwined with a vine. Base of dish, flat, unglazed. Lid has gilt artichoke handle.
