DescriptionThis mahogany candlestand is 25 3/4 inches tall and has a circular top 14 1/16 inches in diameter. It is constructed of a total of 8 pieces of wood. Its 18 inch turned support column is joined to three curved “spider” legs to create a tripod base occupying a circular space of roughly 12 inches in diameter. The round top is hinged to the column on one side, locked in place with a spring bolt, and may be folded down. When the top is lowered, the total height of the piece is 33 1/8 inches. There are no marks or inscriptions.
