DescriptionThis is a walnut, hand-carved 19th-century American Adirondack style frame, featuring a running bark-carved top edge, a smooth scoop cove, and a black sanded liner panel, followed by a strip of thin geometric ornament and gilded liner. The overall molding is 5 inches wide. Upon receipt, the frame had a sight edge of 19 1/2 inches by 23 1/2 inches, and outer dimensions of 29 inches by 33 inches.
