DescriptionThis work is made with white glass, covered with yellow and orange glass resembling pointed licks of flame. This object is somewhat ovoid in shape with a small round opening at the top. Each vase is encased (or overlaid) with a thick layer of colorless glass. This type of object ia sometimes called “paperweight vases” because of their similarity with the thick colorless glass overlay used when making paperweights.
