DescriptionThis work consists of colorless glass with white and pale yellow-to-green threads running vertically over its body. This object is somewhat ovoid in shape with a small round opening at the top. Each vase is encased (or overlaid) with a thick layer of colorless glass. This type of object ia sometimes called “paperweight vases” because of their similarity with the thick colorless glass overlay used when making paperweights.
