DescriptionThis is a large blown glass vase. The rounded body of the vessel is made from apricot-colored glass. The shoulder narrows to a short neck of colorless glass, which acts like a lens and allows the viewer to see the interior of the vessel. A mint-green and turquoise glass rim swells outward slightly and creates a broad convex collar.ProvenanceEstate, Portland, Oregon; acquired by Mark and Stacey Raskin, Beverly Hills, California; Heritage Auctions, October 1, 2019; purchased by the Chrysler Museum of Art, 2019.
