Second line translates: "When the Sun goes down (disappears) the swallow is the 'baziger' (acrobat) of the square" (paraphrased-"When the Saint disappears the Devil appears"). Signed "The Sinner Ali Riza". Ali was court painter to Shah Abbas 1, circa 1600 AD.
