DescriptionHat; high top (beaver). Blown and tooled cobalt blue with slight traces of gilt ornament. Apparently had a gilt stripe on rim and on the sides about 3/8" from crown (or bottom) and a feather-like device on each side below the down-turned rim. Rough pontil.
