DescriptionWool medallion fragment showing a yellow bird with green & black eyes on a red ground. With a small green bird upside down and a black one right side up within the yellow bird. The latter having green eyes. Embroidered in a diagonal stitch on black ground. May be an ornamental tab on end of turban band. Soiled, worn, disintegrating and stiff with age.
