DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. The land slopes down from the left side over to the right. The center of the picture is the focal point, showing a bridge for crossing a creek that has collapsed. There are two large, bare trees on both sides of the bridge as well as many trees in the background of the setting. This is Plate 10 from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 50).
