DescriptionBaluster vase has tall neck with trumpet mouth, rounded body tapering elegantly to base with flare at foot. Foot rounded, grooved to fit stand. Has overall molded relief of foliage and scrollwork with narrow plain band at mouth and at junction of neck and shoulders. Glazed overall with deep purple glaze. Bottom irregularly glazed and the interior only has glaze running irregularly half way down neck.Monochrome aubergine ware: porcelain with purple glaze over molded decoration
