DescriptionLarge vase has wide flaring mouth, collar ridge about one inch above junction of neck and shoulders. Neck contains large swirling peony and foliage design, collar has large spiral in a single band, and body contains the peony design. Flared foot has sawtooth diaper border. Foot high, grooved to fit a base. Overall light celadon glaze especially noticeable on drips on mouth interior. Over paint on mouth removed showing large triangular break but good repair. Narrow painted strip above foot removed revealing 6 inch strip of glaze imperfections. Glaze pitted, one round spot repainted on body.
Blue and white ware: porcelain with decoration painted in underglaze cobalt blue; with hallmark painted in underglaze cobalt blue on base
