DescriptionVase of blown colorless glass cased with a thin layer of ruby (which appears pink). Acid etched to colorless with a sandy texture ruby figure. Engraved to depict a scene of a desert oasis with birds in flight, flamingos in the water, and a peacock. Rim and bottom ground and polished.
