DescriptionThis is a paperweight-style vase which is baluster-shaped and waisted and made of green tinted glass with a hole in the center of the base. At the bottom of the vase are thin green stems of varying lengths. Attached to these stems at the middle of the vase are dark green leaves. Around the shoulder and also connected to the stems are two flowers of green, brown, white, pastel blue and purple and one flower that is lavender, white, dark blue and green. Below each flower are two gold-brown buds. From the top rim to the middle of the vase are trailings of pale yellow, light purple and white. The bottom third of the interior has a purple iridescence and the rest of the interior has a heavy orange-gold iridescence.Published References_Parke-Bernet sale Catalogue_, 1966, ill. #19. Paul E.
