DescriptionBeaker. Zwischensilber glass. Clear eighteen paneled double walled with red and green enameled silver foil design of scroll, leaf, blossom and fruit design enclosed between layers. Above is a silver scalloped band and below is a stylized acanthus leaf band. Bottom is zwischensilber medallion of a forest scene of a stag with two hounds with a red lacquer background.Published ReferencesRobert Schmidt _Catalogue of Muhsam Collection_, Vol. II, No. 259, information translates: "Beaker with engraved silver decoration & silver border. 18-sided. On the outside cut, silver & green & red leaf & ribbon work with fruit motifs. Below this silver acanthus leave frieze, above bow frieze in silver. In the red bottom, in silver, a stag hunted by dogs. heigh 8.9cm, dia. 7.2cm.".
