DescriptionThis round plate has undulating gadrooned edges spaced with fanlike decorations that are cast and applied. The plate is engraved on the rim with a coat of arms containing the motto Nec Sinit Esse Feros (Nor Does He Allow to Be Savage). The arms are unidentified. (Taken from the TREASURES FOR THE TABLE catalog, p. 58). It has five sides.
