DescriptionTwo part watercolor on silk painting. PART A: People gathered around walled palace at left, stream with two boats behind it. Water flows through wall at opening; continues other way (to right) & flows under bridge flanked by several houses & pavilions. River boats fly red streamer flags. "Blue-green" style of landscape on right. PART B: At left, a group of horsemen proceed up to a figure seated on a dais with two lines of people forming a pathway. Large village area to center & right with a river crossed by several bridges. Many people milling about. "Blue-green" landscape to left.
