DescriptionScroll depicts mountainous landscape. An area of water with stylized waves is at the beginning of the scroll. Scene continues to a mountainous region with various buildings nestled among the mushrooming precipitous blue & green rocks. Very finely painted in minute detail with figures, animals & individual leaves of trees depicted. Lake scene with fishermen & a foot bridge nearby toward the end of scroll. Rice paddies depicted at end of scroll. Calligraphy possibly attributed to Zhang Yu.
