DescriptionPedestaled vase/tankard of blown clear glass cased with blue glass. It is blown, cased glass, cut and engraved. The base is cut with two rows of bulls eyes and a row of panels. The bottom of the cylindrical body is a row of sawteeth and on the rim is a band of blue. The acid-finished body has a blue cameo design of leaves and a thistle on the back and Ariadne reclining on a lion on the front. After a monument by Thorwaldsen in Leipsig.
