DescriptionThis is a costume of a pansy; a black velvet long dress ornamented with green satin appliqued on front as a stem. A lower front petal with a black velvet center and yellow satin edging is the second part. The headpiece, a green felt cap, has petals of royal purple velvet (2) and black velvet cluster with yellow satin edging.ProvenanceMrs. Walter P.
