DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. It is in a Brady mount. This photograph shows several Union troop volunteers gathered around a priest in robe, who is holding an open Bible. There is a metal cross to the right of the standing priest and a tent behind the priest. Inside the tent appears to be items for an altar. There are also two trees in the background. This is from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_(Hack Collection No. 299).
