DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This picture shows a large, rectangular building made of brick. A big group of people are gathered in front for the photo. There are several chimneys on top of the roof and a line of trees running down the right side of the building. A sign on the building says "U.S. Sanitary Commission." The text underneath the picture says "Views in and around Richmond, Va." This is from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 2].
