DescriptionThis is a 'Rose-centered spray' and 'pine cone' pattern quatrefoil soup tureen (A), cover (B), and stand (C). Each piece transfer-printed with various floral and fruit designs, one side of the tureen with a cluster of roses and narcissus, the reverse with flowers and a pomegranate, the blue-feathered shell-form handles encircled with floral wreaths, and the interior with a cluster of flowers, pine cones and a pomegranate repeated in the center of the stand within sprigs and insects, the tureen and stand with blue-feathered gadrooned rims interrupted on the stand with shell-form handles, and the cover with floral sprigs and insects around the large double-bud-sprig knop.
