DescriptionThis is a Chinoiserie Waste Bowl. Printed in black and enameled in iron-red, green, purple, blue and yellow on the front with a Chinese gentleman and lady seated at a table set with coffee wares while an attendant nearby holds a coffee pot, to the left a caillouté-patterned jar, the reverse with a youth standing between vessels on a table and a basket, and the center of the interior with a lady standing between jars and a garden seat beneath a black enamel line around the rim edge.
