DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. A sepia toned photograph of Fort Sumter. There is a dirt hill on the left side and watch tower. A flat dirt path leads from the lower right corner over to the left side. The land to the right has been dug into showing the right side of the fort to be much lower in elevation. There are brick barricade walls and ladders. In the distance there are two cannons up on the ridge of the fort on the right side.
