DescriptionThis is a carte de visite. The David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. A sketch of two women at the center, one who holds a sword and another who holds a branch. The top of the page reads "The Blessings of Victory" the lower part reads "Victory will bring us Peace." There are various pictures decorating the edge of the document including a picture of a battle, a man returning home, slavery, and a picture of Generals shaking hands. Near the last picture text reads "The Union Forever." This is from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 2].
