DescriptionOne of a pair of Memorial Cups made during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), reign of Guangxu (1875-1908). Finely modelled bowl in form of peony blossom. Petals are shaded pink and outlined in black. Center of flower is white with yellow dots; hole at this area opens into hollow green stem to serve as straw (?). Stem dappled black, has nineteen characters on underside in black.
