DescriptionOne of a pair of Memorial Cups made during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), reign of Guangxu (1875-1908). Finely modelled bowl in form of peony blossom. Petals are shaded pink and outlined in black. Center of flower is white with yellow dots; hole at this area opens into hollow green stem to serve as straw (?). Stem dappled black, has nineteen characters on underside in black. Tendril of stem broken off at tip on underside.
