DescriptionThis is an assembled pair of Worcester "Rose and Floral Sprays" pattern butterboats. Each butterboat is molded on the exterior with overlapping geranium leaves issuing from a stem-form handle. They are painted on the interior with a central spray of a rose and other flowers within three trailing flowering branches and an insect around the irregularly scalloped rim. There are crescent marks in underglaze blue. The rim has some chips.ProvenanceHenry Clay Hofheimer, II
