DescriptionThis is a yellow stereocard with two albumen photographic prints affixed to it, each bearing an almost identical landscape image of a tranquil pond on the Peabody River near Pinkham Notch in New Hampshire. The card measures 3 5/16 x 6 7/8 inches, and each print is 3 1/16 x 2 7/8 inches in size. Printed labels on the recto of the card give the title and artist: on the left: N. W. PEASE, NO. CONWAY, N. H.; on the right: AMERICAN SCENERY; and below: No. 146--- Emerald Pool, near the Glen House, N. H. There are no inscriptions or labels on the verso.
