DescriptionHeavy because the trunk is thick, with rounded bowl and hollow trunk. Glass appears clear to light amber-yellow and darker amber at trunk. Wide gilded band at rim; below is roughened band of gold, with white enamel dots above and below and alternating red and green glass dots. Bowl is heavily decorated with flowery shapes and scrolling leaves, both in roughened gold feel and white enamel, and decorated with red, green, and dark blue “gems.” Hollow trunk joins bottom of egg-shaped bowl; two ribs stick out and are gilded, within center is another rough gilded band with white dots and jewels that matches top edge. Trunk is mold-blown to look like trailed/ribbed all the way nearly, with a think band of enamel around each bump until a thicker gilded band on foot top edge. Foot ground heavily.
