DescriptionTranslucent, acid-etched light turquoise glass. Body is mold-blown or pressed, slightly flattened oval shape with two identical stylized faces on short sides. Waves of the hair and echo the scrolling motives at the bottom, and flowers at corners of the face continue across the sides of the bottle. One of the main sides has a narrow, curving reverse pentagon shape of polished flat glass at the center, likely for application of the perfume brand’s paper label (now missing). Wide hexagonal polished base. No mark. Short cylindrical neck with collar at rim. Stopper finial is colorless glass that is flat and polished on one surface and pressed/acid-etched on the other to make the recessed design more visible; stopper is thin plaque in general circular shape with floral designs including daisies.ProvenanceFaith W.
