DescriptionThis is a multimedia artwork featuring glass, mirrors, and LED light. The tall base is a hollow wooden rectangle with neither base nor top; inside this base, six LED lights are placed at the bottom to shine upwards. Two rectangular sheets of glass (one frosted) rest on a ledge at the top of the wooden base. Various glass elements are arranged on the top of these glass sheets (piles of glass chunks and fragments, with a large animal-like object made of blown and silvered glass standing in the middle). A rectangular topper, made of two-way mirror (5-sided), covers over these elements and rests on the base.ProvenanceArtist's studio to Claire Oliver Gallery, NYC to Claire Oliver for her private collection to CMA.Exhibition HistoryAndrew Erdos: Invaluable at the Claire Oliver Gallery (February 26 - April 4, 2015)
