DescriptionDish is decorated in iron red with designs of fish and foliage swimming clockwise on cavetto beneath wide painted band. A seated dragon fills bottom interior within triple red lines. Light green enamel highlights various areas of foliage and dragon. Exterior void of decoration. Glaze a greenish grey. Foot 1/4" bottom exposed body a dark grey. Splotches of a whiter glaze and a burnt orange one randomly splashed on bottom. Made for export to S.E. Asia. Iron red rubbed at places; green enamel has deteriorated; glaze somewhat pitted. Overall irridescence.
