DescriptionDecorated "Burmese" vase with an applied pedestaled base and a tri-cornered rim that is slightly folded out. The rim of the base is gilded and around the base is a band of triangles formed by sets of three gold dots. The body is painted with an Arabic desert scene: a standing brown camel and a kneeling grey camel, both with ornate saddles; two men praying on a prayer rug; a rising gold sun; two pyramids; a palm tree; and a sphinx. The edge of the top rim is gilded. See GAM.80.2 for undecorated example.Mt. Washington Glass Co.
