DescriptionThis carte de visite is a three-quarter length portrait of John Jordan Crittenden (1787-1863), U. S. Senator, Attorney General under Presidents W. H. Harrison, Tyler, and Fillmore, Governor of Kentucky. He has white hair, his left hand rests on a low table and there is part of a lectern visible behind the table. White mount is rectangular with rounded corners.
