DescriptionWine goblet of clear glass. Ovoid bowl with a drawn facet cut stem. On an applied, faintly conical, plain round foot. Decorated with dim, shallow diamond point stipple engraved scene of young lovers in a landscape. A girl with a basket, being embraced by a young boy. All is stippled except for the hair which is engraved in lines. English Newcastle glass engraved in Holland. Wolff type. Polished pontil.
