DescriptionGoblet of colorless blown glass. Ovoid bowl with a slightly flaring rim. Double knop upper stem, each with irregularly placed decorative air bubbles. Lower half of stem is a hollow baluster. On a plain conical foot. Bowl is decorated with a Wolff type diamond stipple engraving of two men exchanging a goblet and above this a scroll: "Vriendschap" (friendship cup). Rough pontil. Newcastle type English goblet engraved in Holland probably by D. Wolff c. 1770-1775.
