DescriptionHopi Kachina doll used in religious & other ceremonies. Carved of wood. Right foot is a little ahead of the left. Blue white boots. Yellow upper body. Torso & legs orange-yellow with blue-white and yellow streaks. White skirt with upper & lower bands indistinct. Leather piece hangs at right side. Painted green, white, and yellow, fringed & split three quarters of the way up. Arms move at shoulders. Torso color to elbows then right white & left yellow. Three strand white necklace. Bird mask with pop eyes. Three feathers in top. A decoration of leather rickrack. Cotton wrapped ears. Back of mask black spotted.
