DescriptionJar has high shoulders tapering to narrower foot; short neck, narrow lip, flat unglazed bottom. Decoration, in overglaze iron red, green aubergine, yellow and black. Consists of one large cockatoo-type bird on large flowering peony bush; smaller birds flutter to one side. Background is overall diaper pattern in iron red. Interior glazed white; mouth burnt red brown. Heavily potted, made for export probably to Eastern markets.Unknown
